There is an idiom

 "Keep a thing seven years and you will find a use for it."

(養兵千日，用在一時。) 

can express my situation now.

On 01 October 2008, is about two years ago. I have done a stupid thing, it take me around two days, but my effort was exchanged to a blame... I was depress and felt what I  have done was wrong. 

On today 30 July 2009, the person ask me for help on that thing. 
I never thought about this will happen.
I thought this thing already be forgotten.
I thought I already be forgotten also.

But it really happen.

I am happy, I am really happy, joyful, gleeful, cheerful, blissful...
Because my effort was remembered.
Because I was remembered.
Because I can do something for the person.

It worth...
Sometime, what you are doing now and you feel nothing for it, you might need it for your future. Who knows?

Conclusion: Keep a thing seven years and you will find a use for it.

总结: 養兵千日，用在一時。

#25 Are we lead a poor living style?

Economy in Malaysia is very bad now?

Why we need to queue up to buy a cup of ice-cream that cost us RM10 ?

Why a fresh gradated student  drive Honda City?

Why we have drinks no more than RM2 few years ago, but now people only gather at the café which sale RM5-10 for a cup of mocha?

Why a lot of people buying laptop, iPhone, camera... but they actually don’t need it?

Why people have trip on Malaysia or oversea at least one in a year?  (Usually more than that)

Why we must have costly entertainment at least one a week? (movie, sing-K…)

Are we lead a poor living style?

Conclusion:  We are already good but we just want more. 总结: 我们已经不错，但我们想要更多。

#19 Can one million provide everything you want?

Seem every one want to be rich, want to be a millionaire... I really heard a lot.

Becoming a millionaire really can give a lifestyle that you want to you? sustainable?

One day, I post the following sentence to Facebook.

If I become a millionaire one day, possibly I will only use RM5000 per month for living expenses.

如果有一天我变成百万富翁，我很可能每月只会用RM5000于生活开支。

I assume my money (a million) is able to earn 6% annually. That is RM60000 per year and is equal to RM5000 per month. So, sustaining the million in my account and I can get RM5000 per month.

Can RM5000 really give what you dream for?

Or you think RM2000 per month will do?

Last but not least:

A millionaire might not absolutely be rich. Being rich might not be financially freedom. Financially freedom might not necessarily hold a million dollar...

Which you want?

20091011 I labeled strong in MS-Excel now. But 2 years before, I was a guy who just know what MS-Excel is.

I did remember last time when I was the treasurer in Chinese Language Society in Tar College, my dear president asked me use MS-Excel to do my final account for the AGM (Annual General Meeting). And I replied ok. Actually I didn’t know how to use that software at that time, things on my mind was go to library and find some books for it.

After 10++ hours, I finished the account. Not only that, I have the basic concept on MS-Excel and found it was really easy and useful tools.

After this period I did extra reading for it and made a TARC-CGPA calculator using VBA, and pure Excel formulation in version 9.0. I also use MS-Excel during industry training, college assignment and daily life record. It will become famous later for my engineering life. This is really useful and wroth for learning.

I just thought back how would it be if I say no to my president for using MS-Excel final account. He might accept the request, and I would not learn MS-Excel, it effects my efficiency of doing things when working or college assignment, won’t make a GCPA- calculator and effect lot other things. At the end, I have no gain, or I learn this software now (2009). Conclusion: Do your best in your daily life. Little things or decisions might affect you a lot in the future (which you cannot see or realize now).

Let's say your income is RM2000 per month. And your total expenses is RM1500.

2000-1500= 500

So you can save RM500 each month.

Now, how can you double your saving for each month? Double your income? 

No.

In this case you just need to get 25% of extra income to make 100% extra saving?

Curious?

Assume your living expenses remain RM1500

RM2000 * 125% =RM2500

2500-1500= 1000
RM500 : RM1000  = 100% increased

Increase 100% of saving by increase 25% of income.

Number is fun!

"Income" is not proportional to "saving".

I think many theory in the world cannot apply on every condition.

But don't forget, the power of group is formed by each single person in the group. 

Individual ability is important for a group, because a group is formed by individual.

#9 A multi-million bet

I suddenly have a weird thinking on today, is about rich.

If you have ten million now, and I use another ten million to bet with you. The probability for you to win is 90%. So that mean 90% you will have twenty million, and 10% you have nothing. Do you want to take this risk?

For me,  before I have ten million or a million, I will surely take the bet. Because the probability is too small compare to other investment. It is worth, it is more than worth.

But if I owned ten million, I won’t. The reason is very simple. Because there is not much difference between ten and twenty million. But there is a huge, a super deeper huge difference between I have ten million and have nothing (or the situation now).My bewildering theory, can you be accepted? Ha ha!

Then I think a level deeper. I want to be rich in order to do what I want to do (做我想做的东西).

But I seldom think about "I don't have to do thing that I do not want to do"(我可以不做我不想做的东西).

If I have one million now, actually I can "don't have to do thing that I do not want to do". I don’t have to work, don’t have to use old computer, don’t have think a lot in order to eat a steak.

But one million is not sustainable for me “to do what I want to do”, not even 50%.

I cannot buy a Ferrari, I cannot buy a thousand meter square of ground and build a bungalow on it.

Actually , what I aim for now is the second one. And that is easier to achieve.

Conclusion:  Aim for "I don't have to do thing that I do not want to do" Instead of “can do what I want to do

总结: 目标由”我可以不做我不想做的东西”  取代 ” 可以做我想做的东西”

#7 Afraid can be positive

20100411 I just attended a birthday celebration of my friend on yesterday(11th April). On the starting, four of us who came on time have been waited the organizer (who forced us must come on time) for 50 minutes. I really hate people being late. Further more they come late without any notification and apologize. If being late due to unexpected accident it is fine. But being late due to their nature, habit or the worst “I don’t want wasting my time to wait other, so I come late. (wasting others’ time) “. But what we can do? screaming? Counseling? Not good right.

In my opinion, to solve this problem, the best way is you must have the authority or power to punish them for being late, then they will not coming late for your activity. Just like the relationship between you and your boss. :D

#4 When you got what you want, it might not be what you want now.

Final Fantasy X is the game I have been wishing for seven years. I finally completed it on yesterday (18-10-2009). During the game, I wished I can complete it faster, I thought about the game all the day, even when I was taking bath or eating.But when I just completed it on last night, I felt that was too fast to finish, I wanted to continue on it, some more my characters were trained strong enough now. I felt empty totally. I believe that you have this kind of feeling too if you were player for games.

最终幻想10是我在七年前就想玩的游戏.我终于在昨天破完.当我还没有破完时,我想快点破完, 我的脑日日夜夜, 吃饭冲凉时都想破. 但我昨天破完时, 又觉得酱快就破完,都还未玩够!难得我炼的酱强. 整个感觉很空.我相信玩游戏的你都会有同感.

Life is like a game. When you got what you want, it might not be what you want now.

There is an idiom that called “Failure is the mother of success”. But only a mother can never born a child. We all know child must come from at least a male and a female. Then, who is the father of success?

For me, I will introduce “feedback” to the mother. Because he will learn things after the failure occurred. If feedback and failure be together. And then they have sex, be failed and learn, failed and learn, failed and learn. Then their child “success” will come out soon.

Failure is the mother of success.  But mother alone can never born a child.

失败是成功之母。但只有母亲一人永远不能生出孩子。

#1 The grandmother history

Actually it is a huge history for this blog.

At first, 2 of my friends and I set a target for writing English to Chinese sentence each day to motivate each other.

Then we were tired for sending sms and msn message everyday,  moreover sms cost money. 

Since a lot of my friends are interested in English Learning, so I've decided to create a group in Facebook [English Learning Group (K.L - Malaysia)]. And force  begged my friends write they sentences on the group.

Day after day, those active member remind 3 of us. I realized 

Everyone say "I would like to learn English". But actually what they want is not "Learning English". What they want is just "strong in English" without learning it.

大家都说：“我想学英文。”但其实他们想要的不是“学英文”。

他们要的只是“英文能力”而不是学习。

So...

I am appreciate those did support me on the group,
